Garden City to build a hotel in Phase II

 Garden City one of East Africa’s largest mall has announced the construction of a new business park that will host a four star hotel.

 
The park will be developed on an additional 21 acres of land adjacent to the original 32 acre site that already hosts apartments and retail centres.
 
Michael Turner, Head of Actis Nairobi said that the new construction will also accommodate a hospital, green spaces and a pedestrian avenue linked to the mall with parking amenities.
 
“Our vision for Garden City is to build a new and exciting address that meets the multiple needs of Nairobi residents,” Turner said during the launch attended by over 400 guests, including the Governor of Nairobi, Dr Evans Kidero as chief guest.
 
“With the completion of the first phase and the addition of the Garden City Business Park, we are one step closer to this vision.”
 
Garden City is a $540million project, offering over 50, 000 square metres of retail space, over 400 high-end residential units, 60,000 square metres of offices space and a central park with a dedicated events stage.
